Oflox Eye/Ear Drops is an antibiotic that is used in the treatment of various eye and ear infections. Corneal ulcers, middle ear infection, swimmer's ears, conjunctivitis, etc are the infections caused by certain types of bacteria. 
To remove these types of infections your doctor prescribed Oflox 5ml eye drop to you.
Ofloxacin is used to treat eye infections. This drug belongs to a class of drugs known as quinolone antibiotics that work by reducing as well as stopping the growth of bacteria.

Dosage and direction
·      Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. It is advisable that do not take the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose as scheduled.
·      Overdose
In case of an overdose, immediately call your health care specialist to overcome the adverse effect of Oflox eye/ear drops or seek for a medical emergency.
Precautions
·      Dosing Irrationally might fail in providing benefits and may even cause toxicity. Irregular doses may also raise the risk of the development of bacteria.
·      This medicine is not good for breastfeeding women it may show some severe side-effects. 
·      This medicine is not suggested to pregnant women unless necessary.
·      Do not this medicine without sufficient proof or suspicion of a bacterial infection. 
·      Do not involve in such activities like driving a vehicle or operating machinery during the Oflox therapy.
·      This medication is not for the patients less than 6 months of age.
·      For usage in the affected eye, this medicine is not prescribed to those who are less than 1 year of age.
·      Usage of a contact lens is not recommended in patients who are suffering from an eye infection.
